- Can you use the AmeriCorps Education Award to travel abroad?
- Yes. You can use your award with an accredited Title IV college program that partners with an international provider to fund a global experience. Your award can cover course fees, in-country costs, and your travel.
- How much award funding do you need?
- About $2,000 covers a short-term program, and a full-time award can fund 1 week to 6 months abroad.
- Does Pathways Abroad charge alumni a fee?
- No. Planning guides, info sessions, and one-on-one support are free for AmeriCorps alumni and program staff.
