Ways to get involved in Argentina
Here's what our partners are running right now. Pick a placement that looks like a fit and we'll send the current dates and costs.
Why AmeriCorps alumni choose Argentina
Argentina is a good fit for alumni who want an urban placement with real infrastructure around it. Córdoba is a university city, so the volunteer and intern community skews young and social, and the work runs through established neighborhood organizations: childcare, youth sport, social inclusion, and teaching. Buenos Aires adds arts, media, and social-justice placements. Spanish here has its own accent and rhythm, which is a plus if you want a language challenge. Longer placements are available, so if you're using a full award to fund an extended stay, this is one of the destinations that can absorb it.
- Urban placements with strong local partners
- Long placements available for full-award stays
- Youth, sport, and social inclusion focus
Placements run through International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) and Intern Abroad HQ.
