Siem Reap teaching with a low weekly cost.
Ways to get involved in Cambodia
Here's what our partners are running right now. Pick a placement that looks like a fit and we'll send the current dates and costs.
Why AmeriCorps alumni choose Cambodia
Cambodia is a focused option: Siem Reap teaching placements, close to Angkor, with some of the lowest weekly costs of any destination we track. Classrooms are under-resourced and English instruction is in real demand, so the work matters and you see progress quickly. The country's recent history is present in everyday life and worth understanding before you go. Placements run one to eight weeks, so this is a strong fit for alumni testing whether a longer trip abroad is right for them.
- English teaching in high demand
- Among the lowest weekly costs
- Short one to eight week options
Placements run through International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ).

If you're using your Segal Education Award
Award funds have to go to a Title IV school, so your placement needs to carry academic credit. That required academic credit and enrollment fee starts at $999 and is on top of the program fees above. We'll walk you through it.
Fees change through the year. Ask us for the current Cambodia numbers and we'll confirm them with the partner before you apply.
