Greece is the destination for alumni who want to be in Europe without paying Western European prices. Athens placements focus on refugee and migrant support, youth sport, arts programming, and teaching, all through organizations working on one of the most documented humanitarian situations in the region. The work is serious and the context is complicated, which is exactly why alumni with case-management or crisis-response experience do well here. Athens is also a cheap flight from almost anywhere in Europe, so weekend travel is realistic on a modest budget.

If you're using your Segal Education Award
Award funds have to go to a Title IV school, so your placement needs to carry academic credit. That required academic credit and enrollment fee starts at $999 and is on top of the program fees above. We'll walk you through it.
