Use your award to support communities from Rabat to Casablanca.
Ways to get involved in Morocco
Here's what our partners are running right now. Pick a placement that looks like a fit and we'll send the current dates and costs.
Why AmeriCorps alumni choose Morocco
Morocco has the widest range of durations we list, from one week to six months. Placements are in Rabat, Casablanca, Sale, and Kenitra, covering teaching, childcare, sports development, women's programs, and NGO support, with a Ramadan project for anyone who wants to be there for it. You live with a host family, and Arabic or French lessons are available. It is a practical choice for a long stay: an award can cover a six month placement, which very few destinations allow at this price.
- Placements in Rabat, Casablanca, Sale, and Kenitra
- Traditional homestays with local families
- Optional Arabic and French language lessons
Placements run through International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) and Intern Abroad HQ.

If you're using your Segal Education Award
Award funds have to go to a Title IV school, so your placement needs to carry academic credit. That required academic credit and enrollment fee starts at $999 and is on top of the program fees above. We'll walk you through it.
Fees change through the year. Ask us for the current Morocco numbers and we'll confirm them with the partner before you apply.
