Ways to get involved in Poland

Here's what our partners are running right now. Pick a placement that looks like a fit and we'll send the current dates and costs.

Why AmeriCorps alumni choose Poland

Wroclaw is a clinical and social work destination. Placements include dentistry and medical shadowing, veterinary rotations, public health, and social work in community centers, which is a rare combination at this price. It is a university city with a large student population, so the social side takes care of itself. Everything runs in English. Stays are two to twelve weeks. An award covers a short professional development trip in full and a good share of a twelve week placement, and it is a practical way to see how European social services actually operate.

  • Clinical shadowing in dentistry and medical rotations
  • Social work placements in local community centers
  • Veterinary internships focused on recovery protocols

Placements run through Intern Abroad HQ.

If you're using your Segal Education Award

Award funds have to go to a Title IV school, so your placement needs to carry academic credit. That required academic credit and enrollment fee starts at $999 and is on top of the program fees above. We'll walk you through it.

Fees change through the year. Ask us for the current Poland numbers and we'll confirm them with the partner before you apply.
