Zimbabwe is a single program rather than a menu, and that is the point: you join a small conservation team on a private game reserve in Matabeleland North, a short drive from Victoria Falls. Days are spent on game counts, anti-poaching patrol support, habitat and water point maintenance, and helping the team care for animals on the reserve, so it fits naturally if you served in a conservation corps, a parks program, or a disaster response role. English is the working language, so you are useful from day one. You stay in a single room inside the conservation center with meals included, which is unusual at this price and makes a longer stay easier to sustain. Program fees start around $1,329 for two weeks and stays run up to twelve weeks, so most awards can fund a substantial block of fieldwork plus your flights.

- Personal spending money for snacks, laundry, drinks and leisure activities during your free time.
- All programs attract a Registration Fee that ranges from $329-$429 in addition to the Program Fee. This covers all pre-departure support services.
- A 5% international banking fee is added at point of payment.
If you're using your Segal Education Award
Award funds have to go to a Title IV school, so your placement needs to carry academic credit. That required academic credit and enrollment fee starts at $999 and is on top of the program fees above. We'll walk you through it.
